
Application Process
Journey Canine Foundation financial assistance is for non-basic, non-urgent care. Donation descions are made within 72 hours of receipt of full documentation.

Journey Canine Foundation donations are currently reserved for residents of Davie County, Davidson County and Forsyth County, North Carolina. Proof of residency in one of these counties will be required.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
STEP 1: FILL OUT ONLINE APPLICATION

STEP 2: PROVIDE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
Applicants will be contacted with information on how to securely share documents with us.
Documents that will be needed:

Proof of identity (Driver's license or other photo ID with owner address)

Proof if current income (Copy of employer's check stub)

Proof of yearly income and household number (Copy of last year's tax return).

Treatment estimate from your veterinarian

LEGIBLE veterinary records will speed up the process as diagnosis will need to be confirmed.
STEP 3: REVIEW
After ALL documentation has been submitted, within three business days, JCF will contact you with a decision (email of donation commitment or email of denial). Payment will be made directly to veterinary hospital.

To qualify for financial assistance for veterinary care from Journey Canine Foundation, applicants must meet certain requirements.

Assistance is available for non-basic, non-elective care

Decision will be granted within three days after receipt of complete documentation.

Assistance will not be given for treatment for which payment has been made. We therefore do not recommend for urgent or emergency care.

We are currently providing assistance to residents of Davie County, Davidson County, and Forsyth County, NC only.

Financial assistance ranges from $250-$1000.
-
No family may receive over $1000 in one calendar year.

No pet may receive funds more than once a year.

Completion of application does not guarantee assistance.

If assistance is granted, recipient must be willing to provide updates and photos to JCF. Pictures may be shared with our supporters in print and online.
These requirements ensure that assistance is provided to those most in need, helping to keep beloved pets healthy and happy.

We are committed to providing assistance to help as many pets as possible. Please note that our application has a required approval process in which your application could be denied at any stage. Meeting the above requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.
