Journey Canine Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance for veterinary care for companion dogs and cats in need, aiming to prevent them from being surrendered due to owners' inability to afford veterinary care. Our mission is to help reduce the number of animals surrendered to shelters or euthanized by providing owners with the financial assistance necessary to keep their pets in their forever homes.
Stemming from our roots in Lab Rescue of North Carolina & Journey Canine Rescue, we recognized a pressing need within the rescue community. Too often, animals were surrendered due to financial constraints preventing necessary medical treatment. We aim to bridge this gap by offering financial assistance to pet owners, ensuring that their furry friends receive the care they urgently need. Our commitment lies in keeping animals in their forever homes, fostering a bond of love and compassion between pets and their owners.
